LORIA STERN

Loria has built a career around an incredibly specific practice: exploring edible flowers. Her work is beautiful, but what interested me most wasn't simply what she creates — it was how deeply connected she remains to the act of creating it.

Nearly 15 years into this work, flowers still surprise her. She still finds excitement in the process, from gathering and pressing them to watching how each botanical changes in the oven. What could easily become routine has instead remained a source of curiosity.

This film is a portrait of that devotion — of a woman deeply connected to nature, to making things with her hands, and to a practice that has become as much a form of meditation and self-expression as it is her life's work.
